Some people only require liability insurance since the only real exposure to a loss is damage they could do to other people’s property. If you’re a janitor, you probably don’t have a lot of capital tied up in equipment and supplies. But, if someone slips on your freshly waxed floor and decides to sue you, you will need liability protection. Or, if you’re a drycleaner, and someone’s $2000 designer suit gets damaged in the cleaning process, you’ll need liability coverage. Generally, a liability policy will cover you if your actions, or inaction, result in bodily injury or property damage to someone else.
* All coverages are subject to limitations and exclusions. Please speak to a licensed insurance agent, read the policy wordings and the certificate of insurance for definitions, limitations and exclusions.
