The 4th annual Iranian Day was held on March 16, 2008 at Mahon Park in North Vancouver. The local Iranian Day celebration is held around the same time as the Iranian New Year festivities and is not only an important event for the thousands of Iranian-Canadians, it is also a testament to Canada as a strong multicultural society.
